The official Binance app is not searchable on the China App Store or most domestic Android markets, but installing it is straightforward — you just need the right channel. The sections below cover three scenarios: Android APK, iOS, and web / desktop client. Before you start, open the Binance Official site and finish registration so you can sign in immediately after installation.
Only download the Binance app through the steps on this page — third-party sources are very likely to be counterfeit packages. Installers shared on third-party app stores or in chat groups are very likely tampered with and can drain your account.
Android APK installation
Android users do not need to sign in to any app store — just install the official Binance APK directly.
- Use a mobile browser (Chrome, Samsung Internet or Huawei Browser all work) and tap "Binance Official App" to grab the latest APK, around 100–150MB.
- When the download finishes you may see "Cannot open this file type" or a "For your security…" prompt. Go to "Settings → Security → Install unknown apps" and allow your browser to install.
- Open the APK from your downloads to finish installation, then sign in with the email or phone number you registered. Your first sign-in will ask for a 2FA code or email verification.
- Right after sign-in, head to "Profile → Security" and enable 2FA, the anti-phishing code and device management.
Common questions
Q: The app won't open or keeps crashing — what do I do? A: First make sure your device runs Android 8.0 or later, then check that you have enough free storage. If it still crashes, delete it and download the latest APK again — most crashes come from a corrupted package.
Q: Can I install it on a Huawei or Honor phone without GMS? A: Yes. The Binance APK does not depend on Google services. Sign-in, market data and trading all work normally; only some push notifications may be delayed.
Q: Is the APK source safe? A: This page links directly to the official Binance download entry. Any "cracked" or "no-KYC" build you see elsewhere is a phishing package — don't install it.
iOS installation
iOS users need to switch to an Apple ID region that supports Binance (US, Japan, Singapore, etc.). If your Apple ID is set to China, follow the steps below to change region first.
- Sign in at
appleid.apple.comand change your account language and region to "United States" (or Japan, Singapore — any region where Binance is supported). If you have unspent App Store credit, you'll need to use it up before changing region. - Set the payment method to "None". For the billing address you can use any US address (search "US Apple ID address template" if you need a generic example).
- On your iPhone go to "Settings → Your Apple ID → Media & Purchases → Sign Out", then sign back in to the App Store with your re-regioned account. Do **not** switch Apple ID inside iCloud — change it for the App Store only.
- Search "Binance" in the App Store and download the official app published by Binance.
- Open the app, sign in with your registered email or phone number, and turn on 2FA.
Common questions
Q: Can I share someone else's US Apple ID? A: Yes, but with one rule: sign out immediately after installing and switch back to your own Apple ID. A shared ID can be revoked at any time; your own account is safer.
Q: Will I lose iCloud photos or backups when I change region? A: No. Apple ID and App Store are two separate accounts — changing only the App Store does not affect iCloud.
Q: The app says "This app is not from your Apple ID" — what now? A: That means this device installed the app under a different Apple ID. Delete the app and download it again; you'll be asked for the password of your current Apple ID.
Web and desktop client
If you don't want to install the app, the web version is fully featured:
- Open the Binance Official site in your browser. Once logged in, every feature is available — spot, futures and P2P included.
- Windows / macOS client: download the desktop app from the "Download" entry at the bottom of the web version. Functionality matches the web, but real-time data feels more stable.
The desktop client is best for users who watch charts for long sessions or trade futures — a large screen for K-line is far more comfortable than a phone.
Security reminders
- Only download through this page. Anything called "Binance", "BNB" or "Binance Pro" shared in chat groups or third-party app markets is almost always a counterfeit.
- The first time you sign in after installing, enable 2FA (Google Authenticator / Authy) and the anti-phishing code.
- Anyone asking you to "download a support app" or "verification app" in a private chat is a scammer. Binance support never contacts users first.
- SMS or emails about "Binance withdrawal review" or "abnormal account, please download verification" — don't click the link. Open the app yourself and check.
